Rules
- Expression: Neutral, mouth closed. No smiling.
- Glasses: Not allowed. Remove all eyewear before taking your photo.
- Eyes: Both eyes must be open and clearly visible.
- Ears: Should be visible where possible.
- Head coverings: Not allowed unless for religious or medical reasons. Face must be fully visible from forehead to chin.
- Background: Plain white. No patterns, shadows, or other people.
- Lighting: Even, no shadows on face or background.
- Recency: Taken within the last 6 months.
Common rejection reasons
- Head height outside the 29–34mm range
- Wearing glasses in the photo
- Shadows on face or background
- Head tilted or not facing camera directly
- Background is not plain white
