Rules
- Expression: Neutral. Mouth closed, no smile.
- Glasses: Not allowed.
- Eyes: Both eyes must be open and clearly visible.
- Ears: Both ears must be visible. This is strictly enforced by the DFA. Tuck hair behind your ears before taking the photo.
- Forehead: Must be visible. No bangs or fringe covering it.
- Head coverings: Not allowed unless for religious reasons. Face and ears must still be visible.
- Background: Plain white. No patterns, shadows, or other objects.
- Lighting: Even, no shadows on face or background. No red eye.
- Recency: Taken within the last 6 months.
