Rules

• Expression: Neutral. Mouth closed, no smile.
• Glasses: Not allowed.
• Eyes: Both eyes must be open and clearly visible.
• Forehead: Must be fully visible. No hair or fringe covering it.
• Head coverings: Not allowed unless for religious reasons. Face must be fully visible from forehead to chin.
• Background: Plain white. No patterns, shadows, or other objects.
• Lighting: Even, no shadows on face or background. No red eye.
• Recency: Taken within the last 6 months.

Common rejection reasons

• Shadows on face or behind head
• Wearing glasses
• Forehead not visible due to hair or fringe
• Background not plain white
• Photo is blurry or low resolution
• Mouth open or smiling
