What you get
PassportPix processes your uploaded photo into a passport or visa photo that meets the official size, background, and framing requirements for your selected country. You receive a digital photo file and a print-ready sheet.
We run 25+ automated compliance checks against government-published specifications. We do our best to produce a photo that will be accepted, but we are not affiliated with any government agency and cannot guarantee the decision of any individual official or office.
Acceptance guarantee and refund policy
If your photo is rejected by a government agency, we will refund your purchase in full.
To claim a refund:
- Email support@passport-pix.com within 30 days of purchase.
- Include your Stripe receipt or payment confirmation email.
- Briefly describe the rejection (which agency, what reason was given).
We will process your refund within 5 business days. No photo upload or evidence of rejection is required.
What's covered
- Photo rejected by a passport office, consulate, embassy, or visa processing center for a compliance reason (wrong size, background, expression, framing, etc.)
What's not covered
- Wrong country selected at checkout (e.g., you selected USA but needed Schengen)
- Photo printed at incorrect size or on incorrect paper by a print shop
- Rejection for reasons outside the photo itself (incomplete application, missing documents, etc.)
- Photos that were flagged by our validation checks as having warnings, where you proceeded anyway
Payment
Payment is $9.99 USD per photo, processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment information.
Your photo
Your uploaded photo is processed in server memory and held for up to 10 minutes for you to complete payment and download. After that, it is permanently deleted. We do not store, log, or retain your photos beyond this window. See our privacy policy for full details.
Limitation of liability
PassportPix is a photo formatting tool. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the photo ($9.99). We are not responsible for delays, costs, or consequences arising from a rejected photo, including but not limited to missed travel, reapplication fees, or expediting costs.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
